Glamping usually costs more than traditional camping because it blends the comforts of a hotel with the adventure of the outdoors. At Cave Lakes, you’ll enjoy real beds with luxury linens, electricity, and modern full bathrooms—all while still experiencing the magic of sleeping beneath Southern Utah’s starry skies.
At Cave Lakes, we’re open most of the year, but spring through fall offers the best weather for glamping in Utah.
When glamping in Utah at Cave Lakes, you can enjoy numerous activities, including horseback riding, UTV adventures, canyoneering, Via Ferrata, hiking, and fly fishing!
Yes! Glamping in Utah is extremely family-friendly, and at Cave Lakes, our spacious glamping tents can sleep families of 4, and our canvas cabins can sleep families of up to six.
Check-in is anytime after 4:00pm. Cave Lakes is a self check in resort. Upon arrival you can head directly to your unit.
Check out time is anytime before 10:00am on your departure day.
We have an extremely lenient cancellation policy. We allow a full refund for cancelations made 1 day prior to your stay. If cancelled within 24 hours of your stay, no refund will be given.
Unfortunately pets are not allowed in glamping tents, cabins and suites.
You can easily travel to Zion National Park in 30 minutes from Cave Lakes.

Bryce Canyon National Park is located a short driving distance away only 1 hour and 20 minutes from Cave Lakes.
While Kanab city does have a private airport for small jets, the closest regional airport to Cave Lakes is St. George Regional Airport in St. George, Utah, while the most popular airport to travel from is Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The distance from St. George Regional Airport in St. George, Utah to Cave Lakes is only a 45 minute drive. The drive from Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas is a longer trek and travel time is around 2 hours.
Absolutely! Each unit has it's own private fire pit. Waterfront tents all have propane fire tables and Cabins / Kiva / Stone house have custom propane fire rocks which are built from canyon boulders that surround you.
There are also two wood burning fire pits available for use in the Caves Commons area and island. Wood not provided.
Cabin Series Tent Suites are equipped with high efficiency central air conditioning. Our Nomad Series Tents are equipped with portable air conditioning. Please understand that due to the uninsulated canvas of the tents and cabins, do not expect the AC to keep up during the heat of the day. We recommend exploring the canyon, swimming in the pond, or hiking the hidden caves trail. It will cool things off in the evening.
All of our units are equipped with heating. During the spring/ summer / early fall guests can use the provided dual AC / Heater units. The cabins have mini splits and tents have highly efficient dual systems. During the colder months we provide cozy fireplaces in each unit that will heat the whole space.
The Cabin Series Tents have luxurious fully appointed bathrooms with showers and relaxing soaking bathtubs. Nomad Series ​​have bathroom and shower facilities just a walk away. Suites are equipped with full power - coffee stations, charging units, and solar lanterns. Waterfront views right off your patio.
The common area has a BBQ pit, grassy area, and fit pit inside the Hoodoo Cave. The main pond is a great place to take a dip or cast a rod to catch some fish. Stand up paddleboards are also an option for rent. Horse trail ride tours operate through the canyon and are also available for booking. Walking paths take you to some incredible sights around the property like Dellenbaugh Cave and Weeping Cave - natural Cave Lakes full of water and wonder.

Yes, we have Keurig coffee machines stationed in your glamping tent for the perfect cup of morning joe.
The Tents do not have their own bathrooms inside the units, however they do have a shared private shower house just steps away.
Yes! Each of the Cabins and Stone House Suite have private luxury bathrooms complete with a shower and tub.
